The NPES Fund
DONATION LINK
Since its inception, the NPES Fund has been the cornerstone of fundraising at our school, enabling NPES to grow and adapt to the evolving needs of our students, families, and the latest advancements in education. We are deeply grateful for the parents, grandparents, alumni, staff, and friends who support NPES each year.
As an independent school, NPES relies on charitable giving to sustain an exceptional, inclusive educational experience. Donor support directly benefits our students every day. Contributing to the NPES Fund is a meaningful way to show appreciation for what this community means to your child and family. All gifts are 100% tax-deductible.
Ways to Give:
- Donate by Credit Card or E-Check:
Contribute directly through the Ravenna Portal, which provides a convenient and secure way to support NPES. Your online donation makes an immediate impact.
- Mail or Drop Off a Check:
If you prefer, you can mail or deliver your gift in person. Please address checks to:
North Park Elementary School
2017 W. Montrose Ave
Chicago, IL 60618
- Gift Securities or Stock:
Maximize your tax benefits by donating appreciated securities or stock. For assistance, please reach out to NPES’s broker, Thomas S. Sharp, at (312) 648-3422 or by email at thomas.s.sharp@morganstanley.com.
- Set Up a Recurring Gift:
Make a sustained impact by setting up a recurring gift, allowing you to support NPES monthly, quarterly, or annually. Recurring donations provide consistent funding to help NPES thrive.
- Employer Matching Gifts:
Many companies offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple your donation. Check with your employer to see if they participate, or contact us for assistance. It’s an easy way to amplify the impact of your support.
- Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs):
If you are 70 ½ years of age or older with a traditional individual retirement account, you can make an immediate and tax-efficient impact through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). QCDs count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) and may offer greater tax savings than cash donations. For 2024, the annual QCD limit has been adjusted for inflation to $105,000 per individual or $210,000 for jointly filing couples.
- Charitable Bequests:
Consider leaving a legacy by designating part of your estate, life insurance, donor-advised account, or retirement account to NPES. Your planned gift will help secure the future of NPES for generations to come.
Thank you for considering a gift to the NPES Fund. Together, we are building a stronger, more vibrant community for our students.
Your financial contribution to the NPES Fund supports the people and programs that make us a special place for children and families. Your gift enables us to strengthen our educational program and community, providing all our students with the education they deserve.
We rely on our generous donors to give what they can, with a suggested contribution of at least $1,900 per student. However, to truly sustain and strengthen our program for all students, we rely on contributions that go beyond this amount. Every gift, at any level, helps us reach our goal of 100% family participation and sends a powerful message of support for our community. Your gift shows you believe in NPES, and that together, we’re building a brighter future. Your participation matters.
Making a gift before December 31st allows you to receive a tax deduction for the current year. Otherwise, we ask all gifts and pledge payments to be made by the end of our fiscal year, June 30th.
There are several ways to give. You can drop off a check or mail your gift to:
