While this information about bullying is not being shared as a result of any recent incident or report at NPES, many misconceptions exist in our society about bullying and an accurate and deeper understanding can be helpful to all, especially our students (who are already navigating so much as they come of age in the 21st Century). It is also timely in that our students are witnessing frequent bullying behaviors by political leaders and others in our society, on and off-line, which carries the risk of undermining in children our community’s shared understanding of what appropriate behavior, character, and leadership look like.
