Summer's Cool Camp
Our popular summer camp is focused on fun and making great childhood memories. Each day is packed with summer adventures on campus and all over the city. Kids participate in water games, outdoor sports, arts and crafts, magic shows, creating/making, exploring museums, and more. Three days a week students in K-8 hit the road for field trips to places like Montrose Beach, Shedd Aquarium, Funtopia Adventure Park, mini-golf and a variety of waterparks in the area.
Our Coordinator of Student Services manages the program, with a team of experienced and joyful teachers and associate teachers, including some familiar faces from the regular school year, so campers can deepen existing relationships while parents are assured that trusted adults are supervising their children at play. NPES middle school students have the opportunity to help out as junior camp counselors.
Summer’s Cool fills the gap between the end of school and the start of other camps and commitments, making the transition to summer easier and less stressful for families. While the program is a full-day program for all (9 am-3 pm), campers can be enrolled for one, two, or all three weeks, giving families flexibility. Summer’s Cool is open to all currently-enrolled NPES students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, with a separate program for preschoolers.
Junior Summer's Cool
Junior Summer’s Cool is North Park Elementary School’s summer program for children going into preschool 4 and kindergarten. The preschool program remains on campus or in the neighborhood, enjoying summer activities with their peers.
Note that camps are for currently enrolled NPES students.
